The precise location and the organization of the workshop is unknown, although c. 1431 there was evidently a workshop in Venice, in the area of S Luca, where various members of the family are recorded.\nThis plaque must originally have come from a casket depicting pairs of male and female figures, such as cat. no. 278. ","physicalDescription":"The rectangular plaque depicts a conversation of a standing male and female person in profile. The figures now have no feet.
