In Greek and Roman mythology, Pollux together with his twin brother Castor are known collectively as the Dioskouri or Gemini. In the myth the twins shared the same mother but had different fathers, meaning that while Pollux was an immortal, Castor was mortal. When his brother died, Pollux asked Zeus, the King of the Gods in Greek mythology, to let him share his own immortality with his twin and Zeus transformed the twins into the Gemini constellation.","physicalDescription":"Bust, bronze.
