This was probably made in Neremberg, South Germany, in about 1530-40.","physicalDescription":"Bronze statuette of Hercules wearing the lion skin as a cap and cloak, tied round his shoulders and waist. The arms are held apart, the right hand, the palm downwards, forward, and the left arm stretched out and raised slightly above the shoulder.
