He was a prolific decorative artist of great ability and taste and is commemorated in Palermo by a large number of church interiors, of which the earliest is the Oratorio della Carità (1679) and the latest the Oratorio di San Francesco di Paola ai Candelai (1731/2).","physicalDescription":"The cherub head is represented in very deep relief almost in full face looking downwards slightly to the right.
