Since the figure in the companion bust (A.71-1910) holds the Medici ring, it is likely that the animal in the present bust also has an emblematic or heraldic significance.","physicalDescription":"This bust depicts a boy, who is naked and shown in the waist, clasping an animal against his chest. His short closely cropped hair is drilled to produce the effect of tight curls.
