Alongside it was T.688-1997, an millinery hood manufactured around the same date by the Fisher's Hat Factory of County Tyrone, Northern Ireland (active 1950-1969) which had a paper label indicating that its colour was \"Dior Red\". Millinery hoods were designed to be steamed into shape over blocks to mould them and made up into hats. The similarity between the hood and the material of the hat, as well as the mention of Dior on the hood's factory tag, led to the hood being assumed to be a Dior hat originally.
