It has a moulded cornice corbelled at the centre and ends. Below is a semicircular arch with decorated mouldings and a keystone formed as a bracket carved with foliage and flowers. The spandrels are decorated with pierced foliage. On either side are fluted pilasters with traces of gilt decoration and Corinthian capitals and moulded bases. The alcove has three shelves with shaped fronts.\r\nThe lower stage has a projecting shelf with a drawer below supported on an arch, on either side of which are sunk panels decorated with pendants of flowers, each surmounted by a small drawer. The front of the centre drawer is decorated with carved foliage and a rose carved in relief forms the handle of the side drawers.
