The pattern shows alternating pairs of confronting birds in flight and resting on a leaf. Artichoke motifs separate the two sets of birds motifs with a surrounding floral design of flower buds, sunflower heads and acanthus leaves. Colouring in cream, pink, green and pale blue on a dark blue ground.
