The fabric is woven in coloured wools and thin cotton threads. The pattern is largely rendered by the warp which has been printed prior to weaving, thus producing very subtle gradations of colour and tone. The sample does not contain a full repeat.\nThe left side has a <sup>1/2\"</sup> selvedgem all other sides have been machine sewn with blanket stitching in brown wool.
