See Bulletin de la Gilde de S. Thomas et de  S. Luc, Belgium, Vol. 7, p. 296. The following inscription is on the back of the mount: '<u>Amice Collar</u>, now sewn on to Chasuble 208 in the Treasury of the Domkirche, Halberstadt. The collar is supposed to be of the date 1100. The silk of the chasuble on to which his sewn is of cir. 1400, and is of yellow tint. The cross and embroideries are of cir. 1200. The amice collar is of dark blue silk, embroidered in fine silver wire. [copied Sept. 1901, M. L.
