In 1946 the original company had to go into voluntary liquidation and was bought out by the Directors on the 16th July, 1946. They changed the name to HW Purchasers Ltd., though later re-titled themselves to the original ‘Harold Wesley Co. Ltd.' \r\n\r\nThey took over as a going concern the undertaking of Harold Wesley Ltd., who were listed as manufacturers of -  ‘Stationery, envelopes, festoons, garlands, confetti, fancy paper goods and a vast assortment of paper, cardboard  and board games. They operated from Harlesden Mills, Acton Lane, London NW10 though later, in 1974 they were in Harley Mills, 217 Acton Lane.\r\n\nIn 1979, they moved to Harlequin  Works, Clover Nook Road, Somercotes, Derbyshire DE55 4RB ( Just South of Alfreton.) with Mr. G.F. Connelly Managing Director. By 1982 they were taken over by The British Printing Corporation.\r\n\r\nThe Company was struck off the Register of Companies and dissolved on the 31st January, 1993.\n\nCompany history information supplied by Mr Michael D.
