It was designed to teach recognition of trees and their leaves and flowers.\r\n\r\n© Althea Braithwaite 1975","historicalContext":"Rewards: scoring\nForfeits: not scoring\nNo. of Players: any\nEquipment required: cards alone\noriginal box is red with green, black and white showing a tree and flowers, acorns, squirrels and a dinosaur\n\nRules:\nHOW TO PLAY:\n1.  Deal 7 cards to each player.\n2.   Put the rest of the pack face down.\n3.  Turn the top card face upwards.\n4.  Each player takes a card from the main pack or the discard pile and discards one.\n\nTo win the ame, collect sets of 3 or 4 different cards for one tree, or sets of 3 or 4 master cards, tree cards, leaf cards or fruit cards in sequence or a combination of both kinds of set.\nThe player who has 7 cards in any of these patterns lays them down.  The points on the cards add towards his score.
