Plain weave cotton with an all over background pattern of small spots, white on green, crossed by diagonal lines of leaf motifs. To the centre left is the figure of a unicorn rampant followed by its slightly larger shadow. The unicorn is mainly white with a spot repeat and details, such as the mane, tail, etc., in very dark green. The shadow is deep green with white motifs. The bottom edge has a band in a further green hue. In all, five greens have been used.
