the table and te two cards of Morals to be divided.\n1.  One of the party willmix the cards well, and deal them round as far as they will go.  The player who has got Dr. Lovejoy is to assume that character during the playing of the game.  The cards are then to be gather in by Dr. Lovejoy, whose province it will be to deal them round again; and whoever has got Peter Placid and Felicia Amiable will take their seats, one on each side of Dr. Lovejoy.  The cards must then again be called in, and dealt round to the players in their respective order, viz:- Male characters to Male and Female to Female.\n2.  Dr. Lovejoy will call upon Fanny Fastidious, who after reading the writing on her card must place it on the table.  Felicia Amiable at the same time looking for the Moral, and reading it first aloud, then will present it to her.\n3.  Next player to put the connecting card down, thus, Fanny Fastidious, who took offence at Richard Rough.  Richard Rough will nect place his card down, and Peter Placid will recite the Moral as before directed.\n4.  The game is to continue until all are placed upon the table.  Then Dr. Lovejoy will give the Cottage of Content to Peter Placid and Felicia Amiable as a reward for their excellent behaviour, which had promoted so much mirth and good felling amonst his party of visitors.\nThe morals must be gathered in after playing the game.\n\nMorals:-\n8.  Fanny Fastidious, who took offence at Richard Rough.\n10.  Richard Rough, who ridiculed Merry Margaret.\n13.  Merry Margaret, who felt a dislike at Gloomy Gregory.\n11.
