The lower half is brocaded with a larger pair of addorsed regardant mythical creatures (gryphon and chimera) holding laurel branches in their claws. The supplementary wefts are deep scarlet rayon. \n\n\nRuth Lodge's monogram is brocaded within the coiled tail of the right hand monster.
