The cover is dome shaped, topped by a knob, which has broken off.  Cover and bowl are crudely carved with a pattern of lotus petals, alternating with stems, each ending  in a rough palmette.  The bowl also has some wavy decoration below a band of incised lines on both bowl and cover.
