Within a bracketed rim the flange decoration comes close to Chinese models with trees, huts and pagodas being given the same importance as the rock clusters.  The well is plain and there is no Kraak frame around the central lake scene.  Two lower rock clusters with trees frame a strange pagoda shape with two vertical elements on either side.  A receding triangle of three islands made up of rocks gives a sense of depth to the upper part.  The outer flange is divided into seven panels with a round mark central to a set of four dots.
