They wear jewellery and are seated in a posture more appropriate to royal rather than lay patrons.  The male figure probably wore detachable earrings and a crown, now lost.  They sit on a lion-supported platform emblazened with a garuda on the skirt.  On the throne, directly above beneath each figure, a yantra (sacred diagram) is engraved.","briefDescription":"Throne base for bronze figures, cast copper, Nepal, c. 18th century","bibliographicReferences":[],"production":"","productionType":{"text":"","id":""},"contentDescription":"","contentPlaces":[],"associatedPlaces":[],"contentPerson":[],"associatedPerson":[],"contentOrganisations":[],"associatedOrganisations":[],"contentPeople":[],"associatedPeople":[],"contentEvents":[],"associatedEvents":[],"contentOthers":[],"contentConcepts":[{"text":"Hindu","id":"AAT73727"}],"contentLiteraryRefs":[],"galleryLabels":[],"partNumbers":["IS.86-1988"],"accessionNumberNum":"86","accessionNumberPrefix":"IS","accessionYear":1988,"otherNumbers":[],"copyNumber":"","aspects":["WHOLE"],"assets":[],"recordModificationDate":"2025-09-15","recordCreationDate":"2000-02-13","availableToBook":true}}
