Annagrün is a uranium based glass which gives it a distinctive 'yellowish-green' colour, while Annagelb is a 'greenish-yellow', the colour being derived from the addition of antimony or silver chloride.  Josef Riedel is said to have named this type of glass after his wife, Anna.
