His work shows the range of products and illustration styles, from aeroplanes and cars, beer and perfume, to satirical cartoons and calendar pin-up girls and is representative of the post war boom in advertising during the late 1940s and 1950s.\r\n\r\nThis watercolour shows a pin-up girl seated on the ground with her right leg outrstretched. She wears a short pink dress with a black printed pattern. In her hand is a yellow flower. She wears garlands of flowers around her neck and right ankle.
