Designed by Emile Gallé, the glass was etched by M.A. Hotin. The silver-gilt mount, chased by M. Messager, was made by Emile Froment-Meurice, son of the firm's founder, François-Désiré. The vase was subsequently marked on the underside and sold by the retailer Escalier de Cristal, Palais Royal. The delicacy of Gallé's naturalism is somewhat overlaid by Froment-Meurice's exuberant rococo style.","date":{"text":"1987-2006","earliest":"1987-01-01","latest":"2006-12-31"}}],"partNumbers":["C.1212-1917"],"accessionNumberNum":"1212","accessionNumberPrefix":"C","accessionYear":1917,"otherNumbers":[{"type":{"text":"Glass gallery number","id":"THES50491"},"number":"9460"}],"copyNumber":"","aspects":["WHOLE"],"assets":[],"recordModificationDate":"2025-08-06","recordCreationDate":"1997-12-13","availableToBook":false}}
