Brantjes \r\n\r\n           Co.\r\n\r\n      Manufacturer\r\n\r\n   Holland (Purmerend):\r\n\r\n        about 1900\r\n\r\n     Earthenware with\r\n\r\n    painted decoration\r\n\r\nC.12-1969\r\n\r\nThe Brantjes factory began in 1895 by applying for a license to produce \"Delft and other earthenwares\". While blue painted wares were among the earliest productions the factory quickly progressed to making more adventurous pieces. From about 1880 Holland was enjoying a renaissance in the applied arts.
