The pattern used is very similar to those of Anna Maria Garthwaite.\r\n\r\n<u>Brocaded Tabby</u>: neatly all the binding warp threads have worn away and are only visible as a diagonal line on the brocading. The binding appears to have been a 3/1 twill made by a proportion of the ground warp threads, perhaps every 4th.
