This stemcup was made between 1100 and 1150, when the quality of plain Korean celadons was at its peak. Social gatherings, at which drinking wine and composing poetry were favourite activities, were popular among the Koryo nobility. This cup would have been used to drink wine.","physicalDescription":"Stemcup with lobed rim, foot slightly splayed.
