This jar contained a purgative made with various ingredients including cloves.","physicalDescription":"One side is painted in blue with a cartouche inscribed E:CARYOCOST.  Surmounted by a sun-bust and flowers, with fleshy leaves below.\nBody colour: Buff.\nGlaze: Bluish white, pooling slightly towards the base and much crazed.  Foot-rim wiped entirely clean of glaze.\nShape: Slightly concave on underside.
