Glaze on foot-rim worn away.  The areas between the three handles are each painted with a chinese figure seated in an oriental landscape, one of them beneath an elaborate umbrella, and the inscription C/T E/1684, in blue. The underside is painted with an 'I' in blue.  All three handles are hollow and connected through their vertical nozzles to the false bottom of the cup. This hidden space is in turn connected to the interior of the cup with a hole.  One of the handle has an additional hole underneath the vertical nozzle.
