Central motifs in alternating strokes of yellow and blue.  Outer border of alternating manganese-purple and blue motifs between concentric rings in blue.  Band on rim is pale turquoise.  A partial circle of glaze removed at the centre by the foot of the dish fired with it.  Two stilt marks on the front (9.3 cms point to point).\nBody colour: Mid buff.\nGlaze: White.  A clear lead-glaze over a pale slip and a bluish grey tin-glaze, which has crawled in places, covers the entire back.  The foot-rim has been partially wiped clean of glaze.\nShape: Shape B with the well becoming much steeper near the rim which is wider and without a groove.
