Decorated with King William III seated on a rearing horse wearing an ermine lined robe with crown and sceptre flanked by sponged trees inscribed KW, in blue, ochre and manganese-purple.  Blue dashes and a yellow line at the rim.  Three stilt marks on the front (8/8.3 cms point to point).\nBody colour: Buff.\nGlaze: Bluish white.  A mixture of lead and dull bluish tin-glaze with darker streaks radiating from the foot and areas of whiter tin-glaze at the rim over a pale slip covers the entire back.  Foot-rim wiped almost entirely clean of glaze.\nShape: Shape B without groove at rim.
