Decorated with a standing figure of Charles II wearing an ermine lined robe with crown, orb and sceptre flanked by trees with a pavement in the foreground inscribed C R2.  Painted in blue, dull yellow and dull green.  Blue dashes and yellow line at the rim.  Three stilt marks on the front (10 cms point to point).\nBody colour: Buff.\nGlaze: White.  A dull greenish yellow lead-glaze with bright green areas at two places near the rim and which stands out in thick radiating streaks over a pale slip covers the entire back with the exception of a small area within the foot-rim.\nShape: Shape A with steeper sides and no groove at the rim.  Foot pierced with one hole before firing.
