An engraving by John Rocque of 1738 is taken from this viewpoint and is reproduced in Fig. 57 in Laurence Whistler's <i>The Imagination of Vanbrugh and His Fellow Artist</i> (1954).  Claremont was demolished in 1769.  \r\n\r\nThis drawing is part of the <i>Vanbrugh Album</i> from the Library at Elton Hall. The Album contains 254 drawings and includes works by Sir John Vanbrugh, Sir Edward Lovett Pearce, William Talman, Nicholas Hawksmoor, Richard Castle and anonymous draughtsmen in Vanbrugh's office.
