In essence,  it is formed of a powdered glassy material which is related to glass, glaze  and enamel all of which are silicate-based.  Dammouse was one of a small  group of artists experimenting with glass pastes of various sorts at the  beginning of the century, following the work of Henry Cros.  Dammouse, who  worked with Ernest Chaplet, also worked in the Sèvres porcelain factory and  was given a studio by the company in which to make these experiments.","date":{"text":"","earliest":null,"latest":null}}],"partNumbers":["961-1901"],"accessionNumberNum":"961","accessionNumberPrefix":"","accessionYear":1901,"otherNumbers":[{"type":{"text":"Glass gallery number","id":"THES50491"},"number":"9509"}],"copyNumber":"","aspects":["WHOLE"],"assets":[],"recordModificationDate":"2025-04-20","recordCreationDate":"1997-12-13","availableToBook":false}}
