She collaborated regularly with the anarchist-pacifist band Crass, contributing to their visual identity and creating complex covers and surreal inserts for provocative music albums such as Penis Envy and Bullshit Detector. Her photomontages evolved from her activist interests and, in a homage to Russian Constructivism and ‘agitprop’ art, often combine text with found visuals to emphasize social or political commentary.
