The 'inside' of the form is filled with very thin porcelain layers arranged in a horizontal or diagonal position, following the curve of the body. Five small balls of porcelain are attached to the layers. The outside of the form has a mottled, dark grey colouring, but the inside surfaces are pale cream, blue and brown.
