The track is made using interlocking parts of textured black plastic track, they have a metal groove in the centre along which the car runs, powered by an electric current. The speed of the cars is moderated using wired hand controllers. \n\r\nThe set also comes with green plastic brackets that can be used to raise in a bridge formation in order to make varied track configurations in which to race the cars around, there are three suggested layouts marked on the box.
