Large vase, with a dark blue ground, and a slight kite shape. The two wide sides have white pâte-sur-pâte decoration showing birds within foliage. One bird is in foliage which looks like thistle's with a butterfly above, the other the bird is  within the branches of blossoms, with 'D BOWEN 2002' marked in white. The two thinner sides have four large pink flowers with green leaves along the edge. The space between the flowers is filled with art-deco geometric shapes. Around the foot is a band of repeating gilded decoration in squares, with a dot in the top left corner, and diagonal lines.
