Cast jewellery Engravers: Danylo Haliakhovskyi, Theodor, NZ. The title page is enclosed in an engraved frame signed by D. Haliakhovskyi.\r\nThe frame is not original; the cover dates to the 18th century (1776, according to the report of the cathedral's ecclesiarch). The panels are covered with solid silver-gilt plates featuring large folds, which form a contrasting background for the silver rocaille ornamentation, executed by soldering and nailing techniques. The upper panel features enamel medallions; the central medallion depicts the <i>Deesis</i>, the corner medallions depict the evangelists, and the upper medallion depicts God the Father. The lower panel features an enamel centrepiece depicting <i>Our Lady of the Kyiv Caves</i> surrounded by small enamel medallions depicting saints, James the Apostle, St. Gregory the Dialogist, and St. Basil the Great.\r\nThe fasteners are shaped as flattened hemispheres on a baluster leg. The spine is decorated with a solid silver plate with an engraved rocaille ornament, divided by three gilded stripes. The fastenings are transparent.
