Her work is recognisable to many as the posters are widely displayed across public spaces in the cities of Poland. From important public messaging to advertising parks, festivals, and destinations around the country, her flair for composition is reminiscent of the so-called ‘golden age’ of Art Deco travel posters from a century ago. Still thoroughly contemporary, her illustrated figures are notable for their inclusive range of sizes and identities.\r\nHer fame grew in 2020 with the visual campaign for the Women’s Strike (Strajk Kobiet). Saying ‘I consider the poster as my primary language of expression’, her red lightning strike symbol became shorthand for the equal rights movement which swept the nation following restrictions to abortion rights. \r\n","physicalDescription":"Colour offset poster on a blue ground depicting modern buildings in Warsaw.
