An emerald-coloured, topless jumpsuit with large, embroidered appliqué at the torso of an eye looking through a keyhole. The keyhole is bordered in pink satin around black fabric, and protrudes above the top edge of the jumpsuit. The eye is composed of white and pale blue polyester, with eyelashes embroidered in olive green cotton, with hand-sewn clear glass beads at the end of each eyelash. The back of the jumpsuit is cut away into a v-shape, and fastens with a silver metal zip. Each leg fastens with a green metal zip from the ankle to the knee. The design of this costume was inspired by Sonia Delaunay's costumes in Tristan Tzara's production <i>La Coeur à Gaz </i>(1923), and was originally worn with matching green elbow-length gloves. The costume was worn during the first song of the show, a medley of the then-unreleased '1984' and an unreleased demo 'Dodo'. Bowie begins the show wearing a wide-legged jumpsuit entitled 'Space Samurai' (LOAN:AMERICASFOUNDATION.1010-2024), designed by Japanese designer Kansai Yamamoto, along with platform shoes (S.427-2024). Partway through the song, Bowie outstretches his arms and legs, and his backing singers rip off the Kansai outfit to reveal the keyhole costume.
