Each number in the series was devoted to a single British photographer and included four photogravures and a letterpress essay contained in a brown carded letterpress cover. The series was edited by W. Arthur Boord, published by  Kegan Paul, Trench, Trübner & Co., Ltd. and printed by Chiswick Press. This issue is contained as part of a loose volume with a hardback cover.
