The Whitechapel Art Gallery, London:\n\"The chair, designed in 1932-33, was not mass-produced until 1960, when the original model was followed without modification. Alternative versions are made in beech with natural oxhide, and in rosewood with black oxhide; in all these it is also offered in a children’s size. The production chair was first shown in the Arts of Denmark exhibition which toured the USA in 1960.\"\n\nDescription of Craftsman from Hollis, R. 1970. Modern Chairs:1918-1970.
