The trainers are are cream in colour, with a sparkly pearlescent finish. On each side of the trainers there is a printed red and blue lightning bolt, inspired by the front cover of David Bowie's album <i>Aladdin Sane</i>. The words 'DAVID BOWIE' are printed on the back of each heel in red and blue writing. The trainers have white rubber mid-soles, and brown waffle textured outer soles. The inside of each shoe is lined with bright red fabric, with the 'BOWIE' and 'VANS' logos printed in white. Both shoes also have further printed writing inside the tongue. The left shoe has a plastic cable tie attached to it, with two printed glossy cardboard tags.\nThe shoes are held within a small cardboard shoe box. The box is hinged on one of the long sides, and has a glossy outer finish. It is cream, with a large printed red and blue lightning bolt and red logos. On the bottom of the box, there is a large printed size chart and information about the manufacturing of the shoes. On the right side of the box, there is a adhesive sticker printed with product information.
