Accompanying text:\r\n\r\nCollecting Today\r\n\r\nWhile the discipline of ceramics has broadened to embrace sculpture and installation art, making vessels continues to be a central concern for many potters in the 21st century. Some work within established traditions, while for others, material experimentation or conceptual enquiry leads their practice. The V&A makes acquisitions acoss this spectrum and seeks to increase the diversity of artists represented.
