Launching their career in 2006 with the online platform Hyperfrank, Brosnan soon became an established figure in documenting grassroots talent and pivotal moments in the rise of Grime. In 2017 Brosnan launched <i>TRENCH</i> magazine with editor Joseph ‘JP’ Patterson, and also runs Frank Archives. \n\nBritish MC and rapper Skepta (Joseph Adenuga) has been a notable figure in Grime since its nascent days in east London, as both a solo MC and as a member of rap collectives Meridian Crew, Roll Deep and co-founder of Boy Better Know. In 2016, he won the Mercury Prize Award for his fourth album, <i>Konnichiwa</i>, becoming only the second Grime artist to do so following Dizzee Rascal’s 2003 win. Hyperfrank captured the moment the crowd erupted in celebration as his name was announced.
