Otchere is known for documenting hip hop, Jungle, and drum & bass music subcultures and Black British youth cultures. His work has been exhibited and published globally.  \n\nThis photograph, taken in 1995, is one of two shots of female drum and bass pioneers Kemistry (1963-1999, right) and Storm (left). The duo began working together in 1989, attending Techno and drum ‘n’ bass events as fans before becoming DJs. After working with Goldie, another British drum ‘n’ bass pioneer, the three set up the record label Metalheadz in 1994, and soon began playing regular Sunday sessions at the Blue Note club in Hoxton, London. These sessions soon became foundational to the UK’s drum ‘n’ bass scene, cementing the club's position in a music revolution.
