It has two screens on its face, and a series of plastic buttons and dials, labelled with functions in black text (inscription 1).  There is an on/off switch on the left side of the unit, two metal input jacks on the top, and a volume dial at the bottom. There is a battery compartment on the bottom of the device, with writing moulded into the plastic (inscription 2), and an adhesive sticker with a serial/product number on the back (inscription 3). \n\n<b>Program Card:</b>\nA small rectangular piece of card enclosed with the synthesizer. It is black with printed text on both sides in pale yellow, green and blue. Each side of the card has tables listing 'Program Category List', 'Scale List', and 'Gate Arpeggiator Pattern List'. \n\n<b>Owner's Manual leaflet:</b>\nA folded piece of white paper, printed with black writing and diagrams. It has use instructions, product specifications, a program list, and health and safety warnings. \n\n<b>Box:</b>\nA small rectangular cardboard box with a hang tab at the top and a folding opening at the bottom. It is largely black, with printed yellow and cream designs and writing (inscription 4). The front of the box has a large image of the Korg Kaossilator. There are adhesive barcode stickers along one side.
