The figure is wearing a purple jumpsuit, high laced boots, and has a guitar. Under the figure are the words 'Ziggy' is stylised orange letters, set against curving stripes of colour. In blue capital letters above the illustration are the words 'DAVID BOWIE IS ZIGGY STARDUST'. \r\nAll of these elements are encased in a brightly multicoloured border, and take up the majority of the poster. Underneath that, there is a small image of <i>The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars</i> album cover, along with further printed writing in blue, red, and black (detailed in inscriptions).\n\r\nThe melinex sleeve holding the poster has been adhered to a cream piece of mountboard. This in turn has been adhered to a thick block of laminated wood. It has 4 metal picture hooks, one in each corner. There is a rectangular white sticker with black printed text attached to the back.
