It is an irregular flat oval shape which tapers at one end. The omnichord is  formed of plastic casing.\nThe operations of the instrument are on the top face. On the far left, there are a range of buttons and dials in cream, yellow and red. These control the volume and rhythm, and other settings. In the centre of the instrument, there are small rectangular cream buttons arranged in a grid. These operate the different chords. Next to the this is the gold metal 'Sonic Strings' touch plate. On the far right, there is a built-in speaker. All the sections are labelled with printed navy text. There is also a large 'Omnichord' logo in navy.\nThe base of the instrument has  three small raised feet with rubber grips, so it can be placed on a flat surface. It also has a compartment to insert batteries, screwed on with a metal screw. There is also a tuning hole. There is a brown plastic plate with printed gold text with manufacturing information. \nThe side of the instrument has jacks for power input and output. \n\n<b>Power cable:</b>\nA black DC-12V cable with built in AC/DC adaptor with voltage change switch and two pin plug.
