British fashion designer Jasper Conran (b. 1959) entered into partnership with Wedgwood in 2001, with the aim to develop designs that offered the opportunity for consumers to use their own personal style to adapt their china collection, mixing and matching elements from each range to create individual looks.\r\n\r\nAt launch in 2002, the range included 31 items encompassing tableware and ornamental pieces, made from either bone china or jasperware. In 2005, ‘Chinoiserie White’ was added to the existing range, serving as a contemporary interpretation of the ‘chinoiserie’ style. The Jasper Conran at Wedgwood collection remains in production.
