After creating her own studio, ‘Jongeriuslab’, she partnered with companies such as KLM, IKEA, Vitra and Maharam.  \n\r\nMaharam is a North American textile company that specialises in interior textiles. Embracing a range of design disciplines, they collaborate with artists and brands to develop unique textiles that are at the forefront of engineering and development practices in the industry.\r\n\r\nSince their first partnership in 1998, Hella Jongerius and Maharam have created multiple collections of interior textiles, ranging from 3 to 4 designs a year. Combining the traditional and the contemporary in colours and techniques,Jongerius’ designs often reflect back on her own past projects and research, showing her passion for process and materials.","historicalContext":"","briefDescription":"Samples of furnishing fabric, manufactured by Maharam and designed by Hella Jongerius, Flutter","bibliographicReferences":[],"production":"","productionType":{"text":"","id":""},"contentDescription":"","contentPlaces":[],"associatedPlaces":[],"contentPerson":[],"associatedPerson":[],"contentOrganisations":[],"associatedOrganisations":[],"contentPeople":[],"associatedPeople":[],"contentEvents":[],"associatedEvents":[],"contentOthers":[],"contentConcepts":[],"contentLiteraryRefs":[],"galleryLabels":[],"partNumbers":["T.9:1-2024","T.9:2-2024","T.9:3-2024","T.9:4-2024"],"accessionNumberNum":"9","accessionNumberPrefix":"T","accessionYear":2024,"otherNumbers":[],"copyNumber":"","aspects":["WHOLE"],"assets":[],"recordModificationDate":"2025-04-09","recordCreationDate":"2024-02-15","availableToBook":true}}
