A related painting with the same title is in a private collection.\n\r\nThis proof and E.68-2025 were annotated by the printer Marc Balakjian as he experimented with printing the etched plate in different coloured inks. This etching is printed in a brown-black ink, the other trial proof in black ink. The published edition was printed in a greyer ink and the etched lines are printed more lightly than in these trial proofs. There is stopping out on the legs and toe area of the figure. Proofs of 'Naked Man on a Bed' were printed with the sheet in both portrait and landscape format.
